 ABOUT ME:

Jesus said that to whom much has been given, much will be required. In my career as a counselor, educator, musician, and ministry worker for many years, the Lord has poured into me and taught me much.

I am called now to give back, sharing my knowledge and experience with anyone seeking to grow as a human being and a disciple of Jesus Christ. The Father desires that his children be saved, healed, and whole, and I am privileged to be part of that process for others.

I currently live in the gorgeous hill country of central Texas with Rick, my husband of 35 years (Hallelujah!), and our sweet little terrier, Maggie (see portraits on Photo page). Our kids are grown and we’re so proud of the wonderful adults they have become! So far, they have produced four granddaughters, and they sure make pretty babies!

This long experience as a wife and mother, and now a grandmother, has given me perspective on the many challenges and blessings of family life. I enjoy sharing that perspective with those who are involved in that most noble effort of raising a godly, healthy family.

I maintain a private counseling and supervision practice, work as a substance abuse counselor at Lionrock Recovery, lead worship at churches and events when invited, and teach the Bible whenever and wherever the opportunity presents. With whatever time is left, you’ll probably find me reading, writing, singing, cooking, eating, sleeping, hanging out with friends and family, or walking a dog.

Please interact with me, ask questions, or respond to the ideas I present on the different pages of the site. I’d appreciate having your email (enter below) so I have a way to communicate with you directly about upcoming events and interests. The best things in life are relationships with God and his dear people, so I look forward to hearing from you!
